Dominic Cantone is a highly experienced insolvency practitioner and Registered Liquidator with over 20 years’ experience in corporate recovery, restructuring, and insolvency services.
Dominic commenced his career with BRI Ferrier in 2000 and has since held senior roles across leading restructuring firms, strengthening his leadership and advisory capabilities in complex insolvency engagements before returning to BRI Ferrier as a Principal in 2026.
He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, holding a Certificate of Public Practice. Dominic is also a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association (ARITA) and has completed ARITA’s Advanced Insolvency Course.
Dominic has extensive experience across a broad range of industries, including construction, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, professional services, primary industries, and property. His expertise includes business restructuring, formal insolvency appointments, investigations, and the sale and recapitalisation of distressed businesses. He has led numerous complex administrations and liquidations, including large-scale property developments, telecommunications businesses, and construction and retail operations.
Dominic is characterised by a pragmatic, commercial approach focused on maximising returns for stakeholders and delivering practical turnaround outcomes.
