Shaun Boyle

Principal

Shaun is a Registered Liquidator who possesses highly sophisticated technical accounting skills developed through his experience in commercial accounting, having previously held P&L responsibilities for projects totalling in excess of $4.5 Billion.

With over 15 years of industry experience in both corporate and personal insolvency, Shaun has a strong track record working with Government, businesses, lenders and stakeholders to undertake formal appointments conduct reviews, investigative assignments and business reconstruction engagements. Shaun has been involved in appointments across a broad range of industries including financial services, tourism and hospitality, transport, manufacturing, mining, property & construction and retail. He has an excellent commercial understanding of key business drivers and ratios which he applies to improve short term business performance and longer term financial viability.

Shaun understands the stress resultant from insolvency, and prides himself on his transparent straight answers and plain talk communication style. Shaun approaches each stakeholder with empathy and respect, underpinned by his high ethical standards.

Experience

  • A.D. Engineering International Pty Ltd 
    Shaun was appointed Voluntary Administrator over an entity that specialised in designing and manufacturing electronic road traffic signs and displays. Shaun successfully traded the business for four months whilst conducting an extensive sale process. A DOCA involving a Creditors' Trust was subsequently proposed and accepted.
  • Torquay Securities Pty Ltd
    Partnership dispute between four (4) individual stakeholders. Ongoing Family Court proceedings involving all stakeholders. Complex trust structure. Trading real estate agency and sale of business as going concern.
  • Savoir Faire Cosmetics Pty Ltd
    Shaun was appointed over a cosmetics manufacturer that was not trading at the date of appointment. The stock was in the process of being sold pursuant to a warehouseman's lien at less than market value requiring immediate intervention.
  • BNM Australia Group Pty Ltd
    Gold mine operation that had finance issues at the commencement of operations. Significant antecedent recovery actions against several parties and secured suitable litigation funding. The funding was to investigate the potential recovery actions and provide opinions on the potential recovery actions.
  • Asphar Survey Group Pty Ltd – Creditors Voluntary Liquidation
    Large surveying company providing services to the mining industry. Significant quantity of portable (mostly secured) assets scattered across the Pilbara. Successful realisations of assets on behalf of numerous secured creditors.
  • Rosegum Corporation Pty Ltd
    Property holding company that entered into several off-the-plan purchases of apartments but was unable to fulfil the contracts. Multiple liquidator recovery actions were identified, requiring litigation funding to pursue.
