A.D. Engineering International Pty Ltd (VA/DOCA/Creditors’ Trust) I managed the trading of the company over a period of five months, whilst conducting an extensive national sale process. Successful restructure involved a DOCA and subsequently a Creditors’ Trust. Burke Group (CL’s/Court Appointed R&M)
This group of appointments involved complex investigations into related party transactions and creditor claims involving dispute resolutions between competing creditors and numerous court applications to progress settlement proceedings. Achieved substantial asset realisations and recoveries for the benefit of creditors.
Live Group (Trade on CVL)
My role across this group included facilitating the trading of multiple retail stores and working with Gordan Brothers to develop and implement the stock realisation strategy. A structured winding down to optimise asset realisations.
Members Voluntary Liquidations (MVL’s)
I am an appointee on a number of MVL’s including entities that have historically traded in property development and hospitality; finalising accounts in order to facilitate shareholder distributions.
Simplified Business Restructuring (SBR’s)
I was fortunate to work with the first practitioner in Western Australia to successfully implement two SBR plans resulting in a favourable outcome for both the companies and their stakeholders. Given that these appointments were the subject of new legislation, I was responsible for creating our office precedents for SBR’s as well as overall management of the restructuring process.
Deceased Estate Disputes
My role on these matters has been diversified to include all facets of investigation into the affairs of the deceased as well as direct involvement in legal matters, including assisting with court applications and negotiations and settlement proceedings, such as mediation in order to protect and maximise the Estate’s asset pool for the benefit of the relevant stakeholders.
